Let’s Keep God Laughing

Category: Abstract
Plans, dates, appointments, commitments and what have you are all facets of human attempts at control. We tend to think of living a future that is mostly never like we imagine. Then spend the rest of our time regretting not having lived a more perfect past. It almost seems like our lives are not real regardless of them being the common most tangible thing we all posses.

Were prophets really super natural or did their wisdom foretell our obvious futures? If it is too dark you are bound to run into objects and looking directly at a light so bright will blind also render you blind. Does it make me a prophet if I hypothesized a scenario where you run into objects or did I simply use deductive reasoning?

We tend to take away from what moments truly ought to be. Instead of our past giving us lessons, observations or training for a higher future. We tend to get lost in regret. That kind of reductive reasoning deducts from what the moment was.

Instead, how about trying to create philosophies which recreate moments we like, learn and avoid from what we did not like and elevate that which still has a chance? It is better to be lost in such kind of deductive reasoning to being depressed from the very same mistakes that would have built us.

Schedules and plans are sufficient to convey intention but moments are fluid. I should have a life capable of being true to the moment. Let me wake up because I defined what enough of a rest I should have. That too is not constant in quantity or timing. I should eat what I desire and when it feels right at that moment but not because the herd is also feeding.

Whatever I do should be intense for the moment. Living in the moment is everything. I should do the best I can when I can and no less. Should feel it like a struggle then that is a sign to switch over to something else that I like.

We hear that after this life we shall spend the next in whatever eternity. Are you really sure that you want to spend it forcing what will not be, making plans which are mostly left missed and thinking of bigger ones to fuel the vicious circle of regret?
